He loved to eat (especially tacos!), listen to music, and read the Spanish newspapers. Jose was a very organized and clean person who always ironed his clothes. He is survived by his daughters Elsa Duran Estrada and Gabriela Duran Estrada of Mexico City, grandsons Luca Pichardo and Diego Quezada, and his siblings Jose Manuel, Alejandro, Jaime, and Marisela Duran. Jose will be deeply missed by his best friends in Chicago, Jorge Luis Martinez Juarez and Maria Barrera and their family, to whom Jose will always be “Tio Duran”. He is preceded in death by his brother Jorge Duran, parents Liborio Duran and Celedonia Flores, paternal grandparents Manuel Duran and Juana Moreno and maternal grandparents Jacinto Flores and Nicolasa Garcia.
