Eva was a woman whose heart knew no limits. A true empath, she loved deeply, celebrated the joys of others as her own, and carried the burdens of those she loved without hesitation. If you knew Eva, you knew what it felt like to be genuinely cared for, supported, and loved. She was the life of every gathering, the first to laugh, and the last to leave the dance floor. Her smile lit up every room she entered. She loved music, especially Marc Anthony and Chayanne. She enjoyed a good action movie, particularly anything starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. Eva embraced life wholeheartedly. She walked nearly five miles a day, swam like a fish, enjoyed her sauna sessions, and never missed a chance to stay connected with her siblings. Her compassion extended far beyond her family. As an active volunteer at her local food pantry and a devoted member of her church, she found great joy in serving others and giving back to her community. Above all, Eva was an extraordinary mother. Her love for her daughters, Eva and Ingrid Cabrera, was unconditional and unwavering. She dedicated her life to caring for them and showed her love through gentle words and thoughtful acts of service. Nothing brought Eva greater joy than being a grandmother. She adored her grandchildren, Dominique and Davian, and was endlessly proud of them. She celebrated their accomplishments, supported their dreams, and loved them with all her heart. Whether it was making her famous egg sandwiches and her green spaghettis or simply spending time together, she created memories they will cherish forever. She was a grandma like figure to many others as well. Eva was the definition of a true friend—loyal, compassionate, dependable, and endlessly giving. She was often the biggest supporter and loudest cheerleader for those she loved, leaving a lasting mark on countless lives. A two-time breast cancer survivor and a true warrior, Eva faced every challenge with courage, grace, and determination, never allowing her diagnosis to define her. Though cancer ultimately took her life, it never took her spirit, her laughter, her compassion, or her unwavering devotion to those she loved. Eva is survived by her loving daughters, Eva and Ingrid Cabrera; her cherished grandchildren, Dominique and Davian; and countless family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were forever enriched by her presence. While her absence leaves an immeasurable void, the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the memories she created will live on forever. Eva will be remembered not for her illness, but for the kindness, strength, joy, and unconditional love she brought into the world.
